A thriller of the so-called "American Agatha Christie". Like many of her novels it is a best seller that reads with great interest. The plot focuses on a beautiful woman murdered 11 years ago whose face is reconstructed by a surgeon. He decides to investigate: what does it mean? why does he do it? what was his relationship with her like? who really killed her?

You have a lot of secondary characters. They all seem suspicious. The style is agile, easy to read, interesting with a continuous suspense. The book is unpredictable, surprising, intense and exciting. It is a light book to spend a pleasant time and forget the stresses of ordinary life.
