Terms and Conditions

DeLibris.org is a free non-profit webpage that is sustained thanks to the patronage of MTF. Those who would like to help financially to support this initiative can do so via the Contact Us section.

Access and/or use of this website implies the condition of USER, who by use of this site implicitly accepts the Terms and Conditions detailed here.

DeLibris.org provides access to content belonging to MTF or its licensors. The user assumes responsibility for use of the portal. This responsibility extends to the register that would be needed to access certain services or content. When registering, the user will be responsible for providing truthful and lawful information. As a result of this registration the user will be provided with a password which the user is responsible for. Registration entails a commitment to make diligent and confidential use of it.

The user commits to make appropriate use of content and services that the site offers. These are not to be used for: (a) engaging in activities that are illegal, unlawful or contrary to good faith and public order; (b) spreading content or propaganda of a racist, xenophobic or pornographic type, nor justifying terrorism or going against human rights; (c) causing damage to the physical and logical systems of MTF, its suppliers or third parties; introducing or spreading computer viruses or any other physical or logical systems that are capable of causing the aforementioned damage; (d) attempting to access and, if necessary, use the email accounts of other users and modify or manipulate their messages; etc. (the above list has a purely declarative character.) MTF reserves the right to remove any comments and contributions that: fail to respect the dignity of the person; are discriminatory, xenophobic, racist, pornographic, etc. that are offensive to the youth or children, violate order or public safety, or, in its opinion, are not suitable for publication. In any case, MTF is not responsible for the opinions expressed by users through forums, chats, or other participation tools.

The information contained in DeLibris.org is provided freely, without establishing any kind of agreement or contract between the user and the owners or users of this site, the owners of the servers on which this website is hosted, individual contributors of Delibris.org , project administrators, systems operators, or anyone related to this project. It grants the user a limited license to copy anything from this site; this licence does not create or imply any contractual or tort liability for Delibris.org, MTF or any of its agents, members, organizers or other users. The user can use the information freely, provided that compliance is met with the terms and conditions of use of Delibris.org .

This is not a contract, arrangement or understanding between the user and Delibris.org that covers use or modifications made by the user regarding information not mentioned in the general conditions of use detailed in the preceding paragraph. Other than the user, nobody in Delibris.org can be held responsible for changes, alterations, modifications or deletions of any information that the user makes to the same content made available by Delibris.org .

There is no contractual relationship between the contributors to this website and MTF; nor between collaborators and Delibris.org. Neither is there a working relationship between the coordinators of the website and MTF, who sponsors the initiative. Both reviewers and coordinators shall cooperate disinterestedly and freely in this project.

Users who collaborate with Delibris.org are not bound by any contractual relationship.

The coordinators of the page will not disclose personal information sent by the users who write to them.

MTF on its own or as an assignee, owns all rights to the intellectual property on this site as well as the elements contained therein (limited to: images, sound, audio, video, software or texts, brands or logos, colour combinations, structure and design, selection of materials, computer programs necessary for its operation, access and use, etc.)

The contents of signed texts are the sole responsibility of the contributor of Delibris.org who provides them. The texts that are not signed are attributable to members of the coordination team of Delibris.org.

The user may not remove, alter, or manipulate any protection device or security system that is installed in the pages of this website.

MTF is not liable under any circumstances for damages and losses of any kind that may cause (without limitation) errors or omissions in the content, unavailability of the site, or the transmission of viruses or malware programs in the contents, despite having taken all the necessary technological measures to prevent it.

Delibris.org is a website that tries to give moral guidance on books. To do this, it may be necessary to discuss the plot of the literary work in its entirety. Many books lose some of their dramatic impact if the details of the plot are known beforehand. Readers should assume that in Delibris.org any article related to novels, movies, etc. might contain plot details.

In any case, Delibris.org is constantly growing and some articles may contain errors, biases, repetitions, or simply require a little more attention or work. We invite readers to help us address these problems.

MTF reserves the right to make unannounced changes that it considers appropriate in its website. It may thus change, delete or add both the content and services provided through the same, as well as the way in which they are presented or located on the website.

In the event that Delibris.org provides links or hyperlinks to other Internet sites, MTF does not exercise any control over such sites and their content. Not in any case shall MTF assume any responsibility for the content of any link belonging to another website, nor guarantee the technical availability or quality, reliability, accuracy, comprehensiveness, veracity, validity and legality of any materials or information contained in any of these hyperlinks or other Internet sites. Also the inclusion of external links does not imply any type of association, merger or partnership with the entities connected.

MTF reserves the right to refuse or withdraw access to the website and/or services offered without prior notice, by itself or a third party, to users who violate the current Terms and Conditions of Use.

MTF may change at any time the conditions established, being duly published as they appear herein. The validity of these conditions shall be according to their exposition and shall be valid until other conditions duly published modify them.

The relationship between MTF and the user shall be governed by Chicago's laws in force and any dispute shall be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Chicago (USA).
