The pages of this short book contain 120 texts that seek to help and accompany the reader to meditate on the Gospel with a contemplative and listening attitude. As the author himself explains in the introduction, the original core of this book are some of the notes taken in a notebook, since 1977, as ideas for preaching. Mons. Fernando Ocáriz adopts the perspective of one who prays as a "son". The divine filiation of the Christian (to know oneself and to consider oneself a son of God), appears in this book as a source of meanings that touch and transform the believer. To know Jesus Christ and to strengthen the bonds with him, by the action of the Holy Spirit, will overflow in a truer relationship with God-Father and will allow us to respond as sons to the vocation to love God and others, to freedom and joy.
