This manual is divided into two parts. The first, Fundamental Dogmatics, deals with the historical revelation of God, its transmission in the Church and by the Church, and the theological faith. The second, Foundations of Apologetics, analyzes the fundamental structure of the credibility of the Word of God and the main elements that manifest it. The text is mainly addressed to professors and students of theology, but it will also be useful to all those who wish to deepen the foundations of the Christian faith and thus be better able to give a reason for their hope, also in the face of the challenges of the current dictatorship of relativism denounced by Benedict XVI.
