This book provides many examples of the lack of intellectual rigour shown by well-known modern authors who defend their notion of science against religion or metaphysics. Robinson complains that we find over the centuries, among self-declared rationalists so little attempt of a definition of major terms when talking about religion, and his book is useful in bringing the reader back to the reality of how things really are.
