Matilda is a young girl that loves to read even if she is only five years old. Sensitive and intelligent, she is admired by all but her mediocre parents who consider her useless. She also has strange and wonderful powers, which are discovered by her kind teacher. One day Matilda decides to retaliate and begins to use these powers against the cruel Miss Trumchbull, the headmistress of the school, and in defense of her teacher.
