Apostolic Exhortation "The Joy of the Gospel".

«As a result of the Year of Faith, Pope Francis has published the apostolic exhortation Evangelii Gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel), the fruit of the work of the synod on the proclamation of the Gospel in the modern world that served to begin the Year of Faith.

The Pope shares his concerns about the current evangelizing work of the Church and proposes some guidelines for beginning a new evangelizing stage.

Many of the ideas from the Pope's interventions transmitted in the media during the last few months are included in the text, together with a passionate praise of joy as the starting point and foundation of missionary action, which is always social and spiritual.»
