A meticulously documented study of the miracle of “The Canadian Cripple” (or “The Cripple of Canada”). In 1640, Our Lady of the Pillar restored a leg which had been amputated two years previously to a man in Canada. The miracle had a widespread effect, and there are numerous documents in accord with what the book presents and attests to, from the ecclesiastical viewpoint (the documentation of the process), and also from the civil one (testimonies and declarations made in front of notaries).
