This book is the English translation of the original Italian. The work is a collection of Pope Francis' homilies, addresses, and reflections on the Nativity. The articles are arranged according to the protagonists of the Nativity scene: the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, the shepherds, etc.
In Pope Francis' simple but deep way, the characters in the Lord's birth are brought to life, encouraging the reader to reflect on the great mystery of the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity made man.
This book is a good source for meditating and reflecting on the creche during the Advent and Christmas seasons. Highly recommended.
