Historical romance novel set in England in 1820.

Kate Worthington is a young woman determined to forge her own destiny; she dreams of exploring the world, but her mother has other plans and pressures her to accept a suitable marriage to the handsome Henry Delafield, a man with his own struggles and secrets. The plot is set in Blackmoore Manor, where romance is intertwined with intrigue and family challenges.

"Blackmoore" is remarkable for its historical setting, complex characters and exploration of topics such as freedom, true love and the struggle against societal expectations.

The novel falls under white romance (or 'clean romance'), a romance subgenre characterized by love stories that do not contain erotic and/or explicit sex scenes, in the style of classic romance novels. Novels in this subgenre usually emphasize emotional tension and chemistry between the main characters.
