"The Unknown Ajax" is about Lord Darracott who had four sons: Rupert, Matthew, Hugo's Father and the Forth son. Hugo's father, Rupert, and the Forth son die but Lord Darracott could not choose him as the heir due to an agreement he had made with one of the sons. He disowned Hugo's dad because he married and had a son with a woman of a low social ladder. The second son Rupert got married to Elvira and had two children, Richmond and Anthea.The third son dies in a boat accident with his son. It is a story about Lord Darracott wanting to make Hugo a 'Worthy' heir only to realize that Hugo is richer than him.
