Brief book that explains why saints are not comfortable people, but rather stumbling blocks, which move people into action, even cause of scandal for people who are in comfort. Taking a few words from Paul VI we can say that the saints are "a provocation to the conformism of our customs, which we often judge prudent only because they are comfortable".

Because they were uncomfortable for their contemporaries, some saints were persecuted, others were put in prison... Many saints suffered misunderstanding. Among a wide list of saints and personalities with a reputation for holiness, the author chooses some more significant examples: Saint Ignatius of Loyola, Saint Teresa of Avila, Saint John of the Cross, Saint Francis of Sales, Saint Joseph of Calasanz, Saint John Bosco, Saint Anthony Mary Claret, Saint Thomas More, Saint Peter Poveda, Henry of Ossó, Joseph Kettenich, among others.
