Independent novel set in the same world as the First Law series by the same author, sharing its tone and some characters.
The protagonists are true antiheroes: obsessed with revenge, treacherous, and without conscience… And the few characters who seem to have it gradually lose it due to the force of circumstances and in order to survive.
The author continues to go all out in the violent scenes, and the sexual permissiveness of the characters gives rise to various lowbrow dialogues and descriptions; there is also some extended pornographic description.
