Small biography of Socrates that contextualizes the time and place in which he lives, the values and customs of Athenian society. The author also tries to draw a dividing line between who would have been made by Socrates and the possible brushstrokes that Plato made grow. Finally, the book analyses the main contributions of the philosopher to our civilization and to the present time, whether in the field of ideas or ethics. It is the most interesting and provided part of the work. At the end, it indicates a bibliography for the reader who wishes to delve into the personage. Only on page 134 the author lets us glimpse a too human vision of Christianity, considering it as a Pauline invention, a tendency that has already been sketched in other works.
