In a dystopian future, the story revolves around America Singer who is force to enter a contest in which only 35 girls will have the "privilege" to interact with Prince Maxon and perhaps win his heart and a crown. However America had other plans but were thrwarted when she was pushed into the contest and was selected from hundreds of other girls. It's a story of self discovery and how to overcome first impressions, trust and friendship. However, it does describe a few intimate scenes more sensually that needed.
It's a interesting read if one skips those parts and it does have some great moments between the two protagonists.
