Rudolf Rassendyll is a wealthy young Englishman, who decides to leave the comfort of his village to attend the coronation of Rudolf V in distant Ruritania. But the day before the coronation the future monarch is kidnapped by his brother, Michael, lord of Zenda, so the young Rassendyll, who looks very much like the kidnapped prince, must act as if he were him, to prevent Rudolf V from losing the right to the throne. Book of adventures for young people, with touches of British humor, fun, to rest.
