
This is the third novel in the Housemaid series. There is a time jump of more than ten years since the previous book: the protagonist is now married and has two children. Her way of expressing herself is amusing, slightly cynical as she sizes up situations, since the novel is written in the first person—except for a part narrated by her daughter Ada. The final outcome leaves much to be desired. Entertaining.
