El libro comenta con acierto y provecho todos los textos evangélicos sobre el Santo Patriarca, como también recoge oraciones, escritos y reflexiones sobre San José de distintos autores. Cumple bien el objetivo de proporcionar una serie de meditaciones sobre la vida de S. José, para unos días de retiro o ratos de oración personal.
El autor es Profesor de Filosofía (Universidad Católica Argentina) y Doctor en Derecho Canónico (Universidad de la Santa Cruz), y sacerdote de la Prelatura del Opus Dei (1999).
