A detective novel set in England where the cases presented to the police are solved by Lord Peter Windsey, a well-known investigator who is dedicated to solving the most complicated cases on his own. Lord Peter is witty, observant, funny and with a peculiar English humor. To solve this murder they count, as it could not be otherwise, the false clues. The action takes place among painters in a small town in England. The novel is enjoyable and you get into the plot easily.
