Oliver Stone is an eccentric vagabond with an unsettled past, who with his peculiar friends of the Camel Club argues about world conspiracies orchestrated by the United States Government. In one of the sessions of the club during the early hours of the morning he witnessed a murder, but his bad reputation stopped him from going to the authorities. Along with Alex Ford, one of Stone's friends member of the secret service, tried to find out who was behind the crime, without realising they were sinking into dark side of the conspiracy: a dangerous plot against the president of the United States
It is a spy novel with a lively rhythm which is enter-taining and which can only be criticised for some dirty spicy commentaries which are out of place. Of its kind it is quite satisfying and like most thrillers it presents the constant theme of whether the end justifies the means.
