A collection of fourteen stories with which the author was enshrined as a master of contemporary American fiction. The protagonist, Aram Garoghlanian, is an American lad from an Armenian family who knows how to draw vital lessons from each experience, with humour and wit. Aram recalls his childhood in Fresno, California, with a look full of lyrical accents, that know how to get to the bottom of a set of very charming characters.
