Here we have the second instalment of the saga “The Long Earth”. Joshua Valiente is a man, who, after ten years of leading an exploration of new worlds, has to take charge of a war of parallel dimensions. Although at some time it might seem that the plot progresses slowly, at the end it turns out to be interesting and entertaining. Although it is a book of science fiction, he brings in some concepts of doctrine and Christian morals which he discredits.
