This volume contains four minor novels, perhaps little known, by Jane Austen. They are "Lady Susan", "The Watsons", "Love and Friendship", and "Sanditon". Austen's great gift for describing each one of the characters and their feelings is reflected, and especially his elegant sense of humor, capable of parodying with finesse the circumstances of the epoch in which he lived. It is a compendium of stories that, as a whole, makes the reader rest, laugh and transport with imagination to the beautiful English landscapes and situations of society in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century.
