In a time where problems of stress, low self-esteem and loneliness abound, this little book explains that the true source of inner peace and self-esteem is love for God and others. It is precisely affection for one's neighbor and personal detachment that leads to full happiness, already on earth and then forever in heaven. A disordererd affection for oneself leads to an inner closure, to a growth of pride and finally to a rejection of oneself.

But the heart of man always wants to reach more, to be fully happy. God is the only one who always loves each person as he is, and precisely because he is like that. Only he who sees himself as a child of God and gives himself to others fully overcomes the problems of self-esteem.
