The Cardinal Archbishop of Vienna expresses through a series of six talks that he addressed to an international group of priests in Ars, the village where the famed St. John Vianney served as pastor, what the title itself announces: the greatness of the vocation to priesthood, and the need of the ordained to nourish his life from the Sacraments, prayer and Marian devotion. He uses as a reference in his talks the life of the Cure of Ars, the writings of St. Therese of Liseux, St. Faustina Kowalska, and many other saints and holy people. It is a great read for priests and also for lay people.
