Will Robi is a special agent of an American company that is dedicated to "eliminate" people who represent a threat to security and peace in the world. Its effectiveness is truncated when, after a mission, he is persecuted and harassed by someone who seems to be a collegue. On the way, he meet Julie, a young girl whose parents were presumably killed by Will's own persecutor. It is an intrigue novel, typical of the author's style, with well-described characters and an argument that will appeal to lovers of the genre. As in other Baldacci books, the novel contains some sensual allusions, short and not of great importance, but that can be annoying.
