The author, a French priest, does a great job, in a simple and clear way, of convincing the reader how much God loves each one of us. He also guides and shows how to correspond to that love.
He is deep and, at the same time, makes it easy for the reader to understand and access those depths. He uses the spirituality of St. Therese of the Child Jesus mostly, but also speaks of other saints. The consequences of believing in that love of God are some of the other topics covered: confidence, abandonment, having great desires, humility, peace, fraternal charity, the apostolate, and the Cross.
Those who struggle with scrupulosity may find this book especially helpful.
