A group of old friends get together to spend a weekend in the country. One of them is Jorg, a terrorist who has just been freed. His sister has organized the gathering, with the idea of helping him return to the free world after twenty years in jail. The novel addresses various questions about terrorism in Germany from the 1960’s to the 1980’s, and if only for this, the book is really interesting. In addition, the conversations are carefully done, which make the discourse flow nicely. Unfortunately, however, although the focus of the problem is correct, the novel exhibits some serious drawbacks: several passages—often even whole paragraphs—make references to things of sensual and erotic content.
