Thriller of politics and espionage in the Cold War, in the decade of 1980. The USSR has a serious food problem to solve, and the West seizes the opportunity to get a peace treaty. But during the time of the negotiations some Ukrainian nationalist guerrillas seek to arouse the conscience of their people, and to draw the attention of the world to their land submitted to Russia. They kill an important politician, and they want to publicize the fact.
The book catches the reader by its fast and surprising rithm. Although it is historically based on outdated facts, it is entertaining and brings some ideas about the period.
