A book of family catechesis that presents Advent devotions in a new way: imagine an 11-year-old boy named Isaac, close to the family of Zechariah and Elizabeth in Ain-Karim, who participates in the events of the announcement of the Precursor and the expectation of the Birth of the Messiah, along with other Israelites who appear in the Gospel. The "adventures" of Isaac, his cousin Jediah (who also approaches Bethlehem for the census, along the banks of the Jordan), the old man Simeon and Anna the prophetess, and other characters, are distributed precisely in the 24 days of Advent, so that a daily chapter is read as a family. Each day is also illustrated with references to the current Hebrew language and very precise historical explanations. Good didactic quality and pleasant editorial presentation, with numerous illustrations in colour, of modern, cheerful and expressive drawings. Our Lady is rarely depicted and so the image is less accurate, though respectful.
