In the fishing village of Sea Harbor, some friends like Izzy, Nell, Birdie and Cass get together on Thursdays to knit and crochet. One day the deceased body of Angie, the neighbor, turns up and they decide to investigate what happened. The authorities think she drowned but they doubt it because she was a very good swimmer. Will they manage to find the murderer?
The plot is interesting, well structured, easy to read, pleasant, with a lot of intrigue, it captures the reader's attention from beginning to end. It is notorious the mastery of the language and the themes treated by the author, who knows good style and elegance. As a contemporary novel, unlike most, it is clean, with no sensual scenes, no foul language or off-color language, and no explicit violence. The main characters are very well delineated. In the middle of the deaths, betrayals, blackmail and lies, there are values such as friendship, generosity and teamwork.
