It is a deeply human and captivating work written by Saint Teresa. In it, the author is shown facing long and arduous journeys, despite her illnesses and age, always dedicated to fulfilling God's will through numerous challenges. She will establish monasteries in places such as Ávila, Medina del Campo, Valladolid, Toledo, Pastrana, and Salamanca, as well as a friary in Duruelo. Shortly after, her work will continue in Segovia, Seville, Caravaca, and in the last days of her life, she will carry on her mission in Villanueva de la Jara, Palencia, Soria, and Burgos.
In this work, Saint Teresa offers valuable reflections on the interior life and the deep relationship with Our Lord. Her teachings encourage the development of a supernatural vision and help to understand the connection between a profound spiritual life and apostolic zeal.
