Ava, a girl in her seventeens, is still broken inside because of Kelly's death. She was her best friend ever. Ava works in a kebab, and there she meets Gideon, a boy same age, weird and shy, with hide talents: very good student, poet, with some others weirds friends, and some other psychologycal problems. Between them emerges a friendship, starting when both decided to write letters eachother during the week; all because Gideon, another rarity, hasn't cellphone or internet. But he's a good writer.

Novel for teenagers without any value beyond hang out reading a romantic tale. But unfortunately the book tales a frivolous empty world. Youngs boys and girls just follow their feelings in every moment, never using their rational thoughts before acting; so then emerge suicidal thoughts, self-inflected wounds, scolar faliures and so on. The author just tales facts, without suggesting anything to solve the issues

All above just said, the book talks about sexuality without any shame, and about lost the virginity like it was another experience in life, always around the fourteens; relationships based exclusively in sexual intercourse, like Ava has with Kelly's brother; masturbation, and homosexuals experiences (Gideon has two mothers)... A book to forget, inadvisable for its own target of readers
