A magical novel inspired by the author's love for music, The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto tells the story of the protagonist- the greatest guitar player who ever lived- and the lives he changed with his magical strings. The story takes you from the Spanish civil war to the American musical landscape of the '50s and '60s telling the life of Frankie and his gift which is also his burden and how he handles this. It is also the story of love, of conversion (there is some substance abuse but handled well by the author) and of forgiveness.

Music lovers will enjoy it more but even those with no notion of music with love the weaving of a good story.
