Lihn is an elderly Chinese refugee, escaping from the war in Europe. He lost his village, his family, everything: he only managed to save his granddaughter, a little baby, who is his only reason to live. Picked up in a place for refugees, in an unfamiliar country, with an unfamiliar language, he walks through the city, and in a park bench he meets a man, also a widower, and comunicates with him only by signs. They meet daily and a friendship is born between them, until the refugees are placed in a closed hospice. But Lihn decides to flee from there with the granddaughter and look for his friend. A short story that that touches the heart.
