The world is not a football match, nor are we the arbiters of its rules, its codes, its complex and amazing articulation. We need to step on firm ground to live, love, relate. Cartesian doubt left us as stupefied, halfway between being and nothingness. What to do then? Metaphysical boredom? Stale manual? Boring is the obtuse language, tiresome. Being is always exciting, tremendously attractive.
