Police thriller set in the Barcelona of the twenties. A Catalan businessman, who made his fortune selling arms to allies during the First World War, is murdered shortly before his daughter marries a French adventurer. Everything indicates that the crime was committed by anarchists seeking to start a revolution, and although there is not enough evidence, they are condemned. The book is well written, entertaining and captures the reader's attention. It may surprise at first that the chapters seem to follow different stories without connection, although little by little it will be understood what unites them. Without entering into descriptions, the atmosphere of the book is somewhat frivolous, and some situations occur in places of prostitution.
