The genesis of this short book written some time ago by the then Cardinal of Buenos Aires, now Pope Francis, was his speech at the Archdiocesan Assembly on July 16, 2005. The content is valuable for everyone. The purpose is to encourage love in order to form true Christian communities. The themes covered are humility, mercy, forgiveness and harmony that avoid murmuring. 

It is a brief, direct and very profound writing. It gets to the root of resentments and selfishness. It shows why to achieve peace in the Church it is necessary to recognize their own sins. What he says about the spirit of suspicion is very illustrative. He is inspired by some writings of St. Dorotheus of Gaza, a Palestinian mystic of the 6th century. The style responds to the sources used and to the direct audience of the author who were young religious.
