Tiuri is a 16 year old boy who, the night before his appointment as knight, while watching the weapons in a chapel, is called from outside. Breaking the rules of not speaking, not moving from the place or ignoring strange noises, the young man decides to go outside: someone asks him to give a letter of utmost importance to the Black Knight of the White Shield who must urgently reach King Unawen.
