It is a pleasant tale that tells, from the eyes of a child, how he grew up amid the warlords and the Taliban in Afghanistan. Along with passages that narrate with delicacy the brutality of warlike situations, the family and cultural values, and the sense of humor of a town with a complex history and a deep love for poetry, music and crafts, among which are the weavers, such as the protagonist who tells his story.
