This book, structured in 8 short chapters, includes some meditations on the Eucharist that the author preached before the Holy Father, then John Paul II, and in the Pontifical Chapel. The first edition is of February 1983. The text considers in a special way the relations between the Eucharist and the Church, and shows how the Eucharistic celebration builds and strengthens the Church through “consecration”, “communion”, "contemplation" and "imitation." The book can help those who wish to better understand what it means to participate in the celebration of Holy Mass.
